LinuxFreak: Analyzing your Apache logs via Webalizer
May 30, 2000, 14 :29 UTC (0 Talkback[s]) (451 reads)

"Webalizer is a free, fast, and simple log parser which can display your websites statistics in a nice and easily readable format. In this article we will go over a simple method to install and configure webalizer to start generating stats for your website."

"Needed Files:
http://www.boutell.com/gd/http/gd-1.8.2.tar.gz
ftp://ftp.mrunix.net/pub/webalizer/webalizer-1.30-04-src.tgz

Download the selected files to an area where you wish to compile. The GD Library (above) is required by Webalizer for it to work properly, its pretty basic to setup, you should be able to just extract it, and do a general

   make && make install
(note: you will need to be root for the make install)."

Complete Story.
