Oct 2, 2000, 19 :24 UTC (0 Talkback[s]) (877 reads)

PR Newswire: Macadamian Technologies Inc., an Ottawa- based provider of eBusiness and Linux solutions, announced today that the Developer Edition of Syndeo Collaboration Suite 2.1 now includes Hypersonic SQL, an open- source Java database.

Bundling the Hypersonic SQL database, Tomcat Java Web server, and a lightweight EJB container with Syndeo in an easy-to-install suite gives Syndeo users a compact and powerful package of tools to create eBusiness and Web applications. Developers can use Hypersonic, Tomcat, and Syndeo to create Web applications that are portable across a wide variety of Web servers, application servers, and databases.

Macadamian will be demonstrating Syndeo at booth No. 4611 in the Government Technology Exhibition (GTEC), October 3 and 4 at the Ottawa Congress Centre. For a limited time, you can download the Developer Edition of the Syndeo Framework and the Syndeo Collaboration Suite for free at
