PHP Everywhere: Zend IDE 1.10 and Debugger Mini-Review
Apr 17, 2001, 17 :44 UTC (0 Talkback[s]) (912 reads) (Other stories by John Lim)

"We bought the Zend Developers Server Suite for the Zend Encoder. The other stuff such as the LaunchPad and Zend IDE and Debugger are nice goodies, but not essential to us."

"Currently I see no reason to switch from HomeSite as my main editor. I find it faster to debug with print_r (this is a matter of style of course) because the debugger is so slow. One of the most useful reasons for getting a debugger is to understand someone else's source code. Most PHP code is only a few pages long, so a debugger is overkill."
